The United States should spend a large amount of money building decent housing for the homeless, focusing on rehabilitation and providing suitable employment in camps, bringing joy back into their lives, instead of using that money to wage wars, punish other countries, and build a positive image of America as the world's number one economic superpower.
I try to explain to my nephew and niece that you may be comfortable now, but everyone no matter how much they think they have can potentially be one or two events away from being in that same situation. Too many people mistakenly think that people with addiction lack morals and look down on them. Addiction is NOT a lack of morality. My 10 year old niece asked me what if the few dollars and change I gave them goes to them doing something bad or what if they're scamming me and I just explained to her that i never question why they need it or what its for, i just believe that if I do the moral thing and do what I can to make this world a better place then my soul feels better if they choose wrong then its not place to judge its there karma I just hope the I can help in any little way....Do good and good things happen....
I'm homeless and I'm waiting for change and deserve better
