Desert Survival Skills: Eagle vs Coyote!

Nature and animals

In the heart of the freezing Kazakh desert, witness a unique training method that blends ancient traditions with modern necessity. Join us as we explore the fascinating world of eagle training for cloth-making, where a man's eagle is trained to catch coyotes and jackals, not for food but for their fur. This fur is then used to create protective clothing against the harsh desert cold. Learn about the rigorous training process, including the eagle's week-long fast before the hunt, pushing it to its limits. Discover the incredible bond between man and eagle, and the innovative ways people adapt to survive in extreme environments. #naturaleuphoria #EagleTraining #DesertSurvival #WildlifeConservation

They also live off sheep farming... wolves on the stepp eat ya know..... sheep... and they capture and train eagles in ritual fashion to hunt wolves and other game. It's not against their natural instincts as eagles will attack wolves anyhow and sometimes kill them with a stooped strike to the spine or head impacting instantaneous death as high speed. These Mongolians capture a chicken and for 7 years (roughly half the eagles lifespan) they keep and live with the bird as a pet and hunting tool and after their 7th year they mark the eagle with fabrics to honor it's hunting prowess and the identity of its owner and release the bird into the wild. The purpose of the marking of released birds is so future hunters can locate the chick's of these trained and acomplished birds as they believe due to the mothers hunting prowess and trained nature with humans the chick is reared healthy and overtime will diminish a natural fear of humans making them more responsive to training. So they want to use generationally reared chick's of the retired birds used in the past to hunt, as this way you have a cycle of birds that are adjusted to human interaction but still wild and possess their natural instincts and skills making them serviceable while tame pets
