Who knew giraffes were the forgotten giants? Let’s give them the spotlight they deserve!
The more we learn about animals like these, the harder it becomes to imagine a world without them! 🙌💚
I had no idea giraffe populations had declined by nearly 40% in just two decades. Hearing that there are only around 90,000 left in the wild was honestly shocking, especially since giraffes always seem like one of those animals that will always be around. Watching Julian and the team work so tirelessly to relocate those Rothschild's giraffes across the Nile really put into perspective how much effort conservation takes. The moment the giraffes finally stepped off the ferry and ran into their new home gave me chills. It's easy to feel helpless about wildlife loss, but seeing dedicated people actually making a difference was incredibly inspiring. Did anyone else get emotional when they finally released Melvin and the others?
Why don’t you contact the Rothschilds in helping to save their namesake giraffe
Who doesnt love a great story of love and care. Here's hoping its a happy ending.
This is absolutely magical! ❤️ I hope they adore their new home and make lots and lots of babies 😍
We really need to change the way we live for the future of life on the planet.
Incredible Video. Love it so much.
I wonder what they taste like?
Why is Melvin such a suitable name for a giraffe? Life's mysteries!
I actually think the oil exploration is a good thing for the giraffes. This means that the area will have an added layer of protection. Human encroachment is probably more detrimental because human settlements come with poaching and human/wildlife clashes
That’s insane I had no idea there were only 90K in the wild!
Imagine travelling throughout entire Africa, accompanied by your family as well as those great ranger folks taking care of the amazing creatures planet Earth gifts us with. Just breathtaking, thanks to everyone involved.
Listening to a "Percy Dovetonsils" narrator is an insult to my ears
"You humans move heaven and earth to save giraffes and rare wildlife, but in many places street dogs and cats are still killed because they’re seen as a problem. Every animal life should matter, not just the beautiful or endangered ones"
The editing quality is actually really clean
Magnificent
Finally something good and positive on social media ❤❤
