It took the plague of locusts to bring Pharaoh Rameses to the Hebrew negotiation table beforehand (before, he would wait till after a plague had happened before he called Moses to plead for mercy). That's just to show the kind of power that these juiced up grasshoppers wield when united.

In Cambodia, people cook all these insects and the taste is very good. Take them and sell for Cambodian people. 1kg of that insect would cost 7$.
Can I confidently say that, the disappearance of the locusts is due to the human activities leading to the destruction of the soil structures where these locusts laid their eggs?
All that protein flying away... imagine if they could make a huge net to get a good amount of them and then make powder so you have protein for winter.
Sometimes after dealing with all the stresses of life I like to watch these and remind myself of how beautiful the world is
