So his leg is set now , would he have arthritis and have pain ?
Looks a lot like lions do have a sense of honor and compassion. Male lions will usually defend their harem to the death, but, it's obvious that he is disabled, so the other two males don't see him as a threat. I've never heard of this kind of tolerance except among siblings. Since there's no socializing happening, it doesn't seem to be the reason though. I'm no behavioral biologist, and I hate to anthropomorphise, but compassion and honor is all I can come up with.
It just shows you that anything can happen in Nature
They are brothers obviously
Why cant they put him in a sanctuary 😢
Why don't you guys tranquilise him and help that leg?
Is sad to see lion suffering
So you guys can record him but not tranquilize him to save his leg 🤔
Cunha and mbuemo
What about Red Road, what happened to our solo King
Amazing landscape high grass flat land
Since he has survived for over a full year. Why dont you guys help me get a surgery done of those legs; looking beyond NOT INTERFERING WITH NATURE ; more like a reward for persistence and courage.
I'm not sure that all these people following these animals is a good thing!🤬 You are changing their behavior and intruding on them virtually 24/7! You might think that you are recording excellent stuff and no doubt getting paid but it's crap and you know it!
Then why not tranquilizer him and let a vet do corrective surgery on that hind leg, so it’ll heal properly? I know they say they don’t intervene with nature but w captions should be made sometimes. Lions are already on the endangered species list. Fix his leg so he can hunt again, get himself a pride, and reproduce more lions.
Why can't you treat him 😢😢😢
Come on help him guys
I know your not suppose to interfere but they should call park rangers to sedate him and rehabilitate him
If you know the leg will never heal properly, and he can no longer run, then why not capture him and place him in a reserve where he can get the help needed?
Because they are a lot tougher than we are.
Malone doesn't look too bad to me....his legs are supporting his weight...he's running...mating....just a scratch, that's all....
