(Re posted) I like this price. The market doesn't work the way people think it still does with players with only a year left. Not all the time. The issue with fans is they're wanting us to buy the midfielders in the wrong order. If Ederson is our third, we can now bid for the second and point to Ederson's price as a starting point. 'You want 80m? Show us why he's worth double Ederson, or take this lower amount.' And then when it comes to our first choice, it'll be 'You want 120 mil? He's not worth almost twice as much as that guy we just bought.' Whereas if we did it the other way around, the 2nd and 3rd choices would have far higher fees because we spent the big bucks on the 1st.

He's Tonali-esque. He can cover ground, is very physical, can carry the ball and does have an eye for a switch/long pass. Twitter has been treating him like the DBZ Fusion of Fred and Amrabat but a player that bad can't be a regular for a club that's been consistently making it to the UCL knockouts for 4 years now lol. He's played against pretty much every top UCL team over these 4 years and has shown he's belonged at that level. If we get like 80% of the utility that Tonali would provide for 40% of the price Tonali would cost that's a shrewd deal lol. Let's go invest that saved 50-60m on a natural #6 and Mateus Fernandes. Maybe even get in Lewis Hall.
What i like is that he stop every conversation with other clubs and wait for man utd.
