Maybe I'm in the minority, but I see Ederson being a very good player for us. For a player comparison I feel like he will be a Mazroui type player. Reliable and puts in a consistent 7/10 every game.

Rather than saying that he is the "worst" signing, let's wait until he steps on to the field. Expensive and prem proven does not always gurantee sucess. Bruno has been our best signing since Van Persie and he was neither prem proven nor expensive.
Tbf they did really well with Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko and Lammens, it seems that new signings deliver.

We havent overpaid, 34 mill is nothing in todays market, alex scott cost 25mill from bristol city by the way. Fernandes cost 38 mill from southampton. Small fees by todays standards. This is a good deal and good value

Mark, you obviously don't watch Serie A. Ederson is a baller, a dribbler, good passer, excellent in aerial fuels,tackler, physically strong and versatile. He can play all positions of the backline as well as both pivot positions. The only weakness is that he can't score goals though he get himself in good position in the final third
