I had a built mazworks motor lift a head recently and found out they only torque the head studs to about 60ft/lbs. we put a new cometic in and torqued to 90ft/lbs and have been beating on it regularly without issue.

The artec is probably holding you back maybe too much back pressure causing cylinder temps to be high? More risk of cracked head? Artec are known to be restrictive try that tubular mani
