Raw propane is completely odorless, and distributors intentionally add an odorant called mercaptan so people can easily detect leaks. I sell propane and propane accessories.

In the 1990s JC Whitney catalog sold a kit to take a convert your gas powered vehicle into Natural Gas. My childhood buddies father put one on his Ford ranger..

Alot of you are oblivious to the fact that a bunch of trucks use this everyday, like Buses full of passengers, UPS and Amazon Semis and many other vehicles you drive down the road next to.

I owned a CNG honda civic when i lived in california and i LOVED getting fuel for 25 cents a gallon on the MYPHILL station i had attached to my house natural gas line at home , AND since i had that i got a discount on the natural gas on my HOME appliances too,, i miss having a car getting 30 mpg only paying 25 cents a gallon making my cost per mile less than a penny! ive NEVER had that cheap a fuel since and i miss that!

In Poland in 90’s I remember people were converting their cars to Propane and till this day , more people are doing that even more.
