Wolfe Glick just finished 2nd at Indianapolis Regionals with a brand new team featuring Mega Steelix and Mega Tyranitar! I took it for a spin and climbed up from Master Ball 2 to Champion tier in a ladder session, winning 12 games in a row along the way. This video documents my time with the team! I love how diverse the top 16 was. People gave champions a lot of flack but they produced a semi balanced meta.
Wolfey keeps me interested in VGC based off of his unique team building alone.
Can’t wait for Wolfey’s video on this in 9 months
This team was definitely the highlight of the weekend. Wolfe showing Johto a lot of love with ttar and steelix lol
GOAT using the other GOAT’s team. Appreciate how quickly you pump these out Aaron!
really enjoying the full-time content from you! hoping you've been able to grow the channel enough to keep this pace if that's something you wish to do!
1. Death 2. Taxes 3. Another banger from Aaron
I just watched 50 minutes of Wolfe using this team on Patreon, he said multiple times that the team is hard to pilot. Then I see Aaron has won 12 games in a row at Champion tier. Dude just pilots a wide variety of teams so well.
The PowerPoint breakdowns really helps scrubs like me understand how these teams work. I really appreciate how easily you explain and leave the breakdowns for a while so we can follow with. Legit... You are a Pokemon Professor for battling!
I went through a character arc of "wtf was Wolfey cooking" on Day 1 to "THAT'S WHY HE'S THE GOAT" once he got to finals
This intro and weaknesses sequence is sick. It's detailed and well thought out and I like that it has a full infographic like look.
I needed more froslass counters to play against, thanks wolfe
50:08 "And Rotom, thank you, you did not miss" LOL that was a trauma induced statement. Also i happened to pass by you at Indy but you were talking to Wolfe so i didn't wanna interrupt, hope you had a blast this weekend in our pothole landscape of a city LMAO
Ive been using a Mega Steelix team in the singles ladder since champions started, so probably can imagine my delight seeing Wolfe manage to bring it to doubles all the way to the finals. Powerful defensively and offensively with plenty of adapatability to keep opponents guessing
I saw that Wolfe was using a Steelix and was honestly surprised he made it so far! Also really cool that Pokeaim also placed 18th as well! Thanks for the vid, Aaron!
It surely is a good time when you can watch aaron's daily videosssss. Letsgooooo
I knew this video would be coming after watching Wolfe this weekend but this is impressive. A+ work, the 2 best creators in the space!
In about 17 years we will probably see Wolfey's video about this tournament
my torkoal sends his regards
The dopamine rush I just got getting into bed for the night and seeing this upload 😤
