80mil for Fernandez? It's absurd especially for a team thats been relegated as for Alex Scott would be a fantastic signing only if there is a right price
I wouldn't be mad at Scott, Fernandes as our signings with Ederson. I think Scott and Fernandes have A LOT of potential

I would sign them both. Both are premier proven, both have a high ceiling and both are young

absolutely, as long as they have the desire and the fitness - i'll be happy to have a few lesser signings, than one big for the same amount. After all everything comes down to desire, chemistry and engine, at least in my opinion.
If they can get either Matty F or Scott for around £60m then that would be good business IMO . I do still wonder about Stiller and Goretzka (free agent!) . And also, if Villa have PSR issues and need to sell, maybe Amadou Onana? And whilst we're talking about raising the squad floor, a cheap deal for Lesley Ugochukwu may not be bad option as a squad (4th CM? Tier 3?) upgrade. Surely wouldn't be much more than £25m.
Ederson-Fernandez-Tonali 40M-60M-80M We’ve got 300M to spend after outgoings. So spend 180-200M to build a ridiculous midfield and then 100M on defense. That’s a team that can be legitimate challengers in any competition.
The worry for scott with me is his injuries. He has a few small injuries in a season. I hope if we go Scott that doesnt mean we dont go for Fernandes. I think we need both Fernandes and Scott.
Mateus is definetely worth 60 millions. As a portuguese I am astonished he is not in the squad for the World Cup. He deserved it much more than Rúben Neves or Samu Costa. I think he would be great in United. He is that sort of character. Works a lot, covers a lot of space, is complete in terms of defensive and offensive play. A bit like Rice in Arsenal, though not at the same level (but he has the potencial).
Yeah Sam, I do agree...if those 1st tier players seems too hard to get because of their asking price, wage or even their club really not gonna let them go then better look somewhere else...we just need the right profile and players that really gonna work hard for the badge....
West ham have no leverage. They are giving themselves more room for negotiations. If reports are true he wants united and he refuses to consider anyone else it will be considerably less than £80m
We're not winning the league or ucl next year so tier 2 midfielders that can develop further might be a sensible shout.
