Once again in have to raise that the Clare players were pretending to have head contact when there wasnt. Byrne hit shoulder to shoulder. And 22 Clare ducked into contact 3 times and pretended to be hurt. Disgraceful behaviour
Never fancied us today, and probably not even against tipp but after the waterford game I was looking straight to the Cork game. If they beat waterford, theyl probably put out a B team in the last game and obviously have injuries as well. So a win there, 4 points should put Clare through.
LImerick , just like last Sunday, were pure filth again. And like last Sunday they should have had at least three sent off and not just one.
Word of warning. Limerick beat Cork by 16 points at the same stage last year but lost to them in The Munster final and were out in the quarters. Clare are far from finished this year.
I like Sophie's choices. Unfortunately for Cork losing Joyce & Downey are significant impediments to overcome. Joyce or Downey would've been bad enough - both at the same time is far from ideal. I think you can poke holes in Cork's form in Munster championship thus far. Tipp were poor the 1st day - yet Cork 'only' beat them by 4pts. A lot went Cork's way v Limk but they still only won by 2pts. It's last chance saloon for Waterford, the game is on in Walsh Park & with the significant Cork injuries I'm siding with Sophie on that one.

Bit strange only having one game all weekend aftet a feast of hurling in recent weeks. At least it was on free-to-air tv. We've been treated to many top class games in Munster down the years in the round robin but this certainly wasn't one of them. I didnt really enjoy the game found it very stop-start and scrappy at times with no real flow. A lot of simple handling errors and players miscontrolling the ball or failing to even rise the sliotar. Clare were the biggest culprits by far but there is room for improvement for Limerick, also. Limerick in a nice position now with two home games v Waterford and Tipp. Getting to another Munster final will be the aim. Clare even if they lose to Tipp in Thurles might be travelling to Cork last game with Cork already in the Munster final (i think Cork will beat Waterford). You would imagine Cork would rest some big names and might not be at full pelt and Clare could benefit from this. Next weekend hss more to offer all hurling fans as the stand alone Munster game is Waterford v Cork. and a couple of big Leinster games to look forward to in Wexford at home to Dublin and Offaly entertaining Kilkenny. Wonder which game if any will upset the odds? Neither i imagine. P.S Brendan Cummins, Eoin Murphy & Nicky Quaid would also be my top three goalkeepers since i'm watching the game with Damien Fitzhenry unlucky to miss out. The exact same as Skehill as it turns out.

Funny talking about the weld breaking on the face guard. I’d a mycro helmet and the middle vertical bar weld broke during a game. Didn’t notice it when it happened in a rook, head down trying to pick the ball, skewered a lad’s arm.
