Had the Fk2 type R and now have the F-type R V8 jag. Both great cars to drive.
I'd go with the Jag... beautiful exterior, modern accoutrements (though I have to say I'd live in terror of the ac vent motor frying and leaving the car unable to cool the cabin), and seemingly level-headed except when you want to push it. M3 as a close second. Other three are in a tied 3rd place, with my answer depending on the day.

Surly BMW M6 under £30k bargain limited numbers 4.4 twin turbo v8. Already hammered that Bentley and Nissan GTR on top gear episode. Just as classy inside but all the right looks and sound on the outside too, and if you follow marks 15 year appreciating asset plan the only way these cars are gona go it up in value.

I have a F-Type here in the states, I absolutely love it. Everyone in my area either drives a Porsche or Corvette, so I definitely stand out & turn heads when I am cruising around. I have an E-Pace too, but the F-Type has become my daily the last 3 years.
BMW E92 also has shift paddles like that , you can drive with one hand and change gears
Get the F type R V8 but coupe RWD (Early ones), they are epic and such good fun. got mine for under 30k. Completely different animal to the V6 and sound insane
I own a 981 Cayman S with the Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) and it sounds soooo good, so you don't even need aftermarket for it to sound epic. Most do aftermarket if they didn't spec PSE to start with as its costly to retrofit (£2k+) so aftermarket is cheaper.
