It’s hard to say because they kept Kadence and my understanding is that they’re still actively developing the products they kept. And they have to honor the lifetime deal buyers. On the other hand if you didn’t get the lifetime deal then you might be tempted to look at cheaper alternatives. The theme choice is important but at the the end of the day I think people are making too big a deal out of the whole thing. A particular theme or plugin isn’t going to make or break a business and these kinds of events have been happening and will continue to happen in WordPress. So my whole thing is Pick a theme, go all in, and get on with the actual business.
