I think that there are some players having trouble in the practices with all the different schemes in the playbook. Stephanie White showed last year that she could change from one playbook page to another from week to week because of new players. They used basically the same place it in the last couple of games and the other coaches changed their strategies and kicked ass. They need to box out and get the rebounds so they can play ahead of the ball letting the other team get into defensive position on the other end. It’s not good. They need Nolan Richardson’s 40 minutes of hell playbook to be successful with Katelyn Clark.

Im amazed that no one who responded believed what Lexie was saying. If her comments dont correspond to the narrative you believe and promote, then she is not telling it as it is? She is PR for the coach and team? I believe Lexie is truthful and a great team member who is willing to respond to any question asked.

Here's what's going on. CC makes $16 mil/a year in endorsements. Her parents & agent went to her & said the companies are getting a little nervous about the direction of your squeaky clean Brand. Many of these endorsement contracts are coming up for renewal. Your WNBA pay is tip money in comparison, so be cool until you become a Free Agent. In the meantime do not rock the boat, say and do whatever the higher ups tell you to say & do. Remember in the long run CC, it's all about the Benjamins. 💰💰💰💰💰

:40 - Well, the Fever did assert themselves, then the coach pulled the catalysts for that early lead after 3 1/2 minutes into the game. Then, with AB and CC on the bench, the Fever lose the lead and go on to trail the Fire by a lot of points. And (per many WNBA commentators), somehow that's CC's fault. ... Oh, 'CC shouldn't have been disruptive!' If CC had remained calm, was that going to give the Fever the win? Of course not! So, let's shift the narrative away from the coach's horrible decision making and try to blame CC (the player who was instrumental in getting the Fever the early lead in the first place).

Players and coaches argue all the time! If this had been any other player and coach, we would not be having this conversation. That is exactly what Lexi is saying. Arguments are the necessary evil of competitive sports. Caitlin has literally saved the WNBA. That is why there is so much attention on her.

This is is just so contrived. You take one of CC's closest Colleague/friend in the league to smooth all the dysfunctionality of the last game AND the start of the season. Are you her friend or just a pawn being used?! Good grief! You (The Fever/WNBA) have lost the room! CC get out while you can!

I just wish CC would speak it out about whats going on and get out of it all together. She is not going to do that cause she loves the game and her team mates. But i dont see that with yall this year. Thats sad

I choose to believe the players. Sad that people prefer to believe THEY know best from behind their computer screens. It’s so pathetic and embarrassing. They aren’t real fans. So effing annoying. Lexie is doing this to protect Caitlin and her team but these people won’t care.

Lexi Hull, can i ask you why you dont help CC out when you see 2& 3 players gain up on her? Not just you but the rest of you. When CC is struggling, usually the other people pick up the slack, but you and others arent making open shots either. I hate that ! I do wonder if the coach is putting her ISO. Thats what it looks like to me.

The Fever should be optimizing in year 3 with Caitlin yet somehow they are still trying to find their identity under Methanie White. What th is going on in that organization?

Honestly , Clark seems pretty put together & very professional. She may have a playful side but I don’t think she has a disloyal or mean bone in her body. It’s unfortunate but I suspect her team mates & supposed friends may not have Clark’s loyalty or Clark’s back when push comes to shove. She has incredible talent & court vision, seems to have a blind spot where her team mates are concerned among others. That’s too bad.

You're not going to be punching anyone one in the face when you, AB, and CC are pulled after a couple of minutes. There is NO flow when you play 11 different players in one quarter.
