This was posted 3 months ago so "next year" is technically this year. So ill turn 18 in a month ill start my first year of medschool (in my country once u finish highschool u start medschool immediately but its a 7 year program where youve got 2 academic years at first then 3 clinical and 2 years of internship or rotation then 4 to 7 year of ur typical residency programs) ill get my drivers license and hopefully much more better things to come so happy for usssโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ

Im a theater major, but i am so interested in medicene and how others are doing in their pursuit of their degrees! After i get my degree, i plan on teaching theater and going to school online again to take a medical prerequisite and eventually go to med school to be a surgeon (or a doctor. Which? Idk yet.) I think being knowledgeable in medicine, and being able to help people and cure them is so cool. I hope you did well and found a good residency program that you enjoy!!!

I took a gap year in 2024 because I wanted to do medicine, and had to retake some Igcs O-level exams in different subjects. last year, after joining a levels, in year 11, I was SOOO unsure if I wanted to go for medicine, and even told my parents that I wont be going to medical school. But recently got the opportunity to work as a clinical assistant and honestly realized why i started in the first place. i was intimidated bc everyone keeps either quiting medicine after graduating, or saying it's way too hard. your vlogs are sooo inspiring THANK YOU so so much. <33
next year, iโm going to be a third year PharmD student and honestly itโs been so chaotic with first semester of second year but i just finished finals today and now I need to start prepping for next semester!
