You were actually the person that inspired my solo travels, I’ve been to London, Tokyo, and Paris. Planning a my next big one to Italy! It given me so much confidence and independence! I usually do one nice dress up fancy dinner at each city! I highly recommend everyone especially women to try it at least once in their life, at first it’s terrifying but once you get past the unknown and anxiety you’ll feel so free!

I’ve been watching for over 7 years, this is the most genuine vlog I’ve ever seen. You seem super happy being on a solo trip. I used to go on solo trips all the time, it’s literally the best thing. I think you should do them more often.

Eating at the bar is fun when you’re by yourself. The bartenders and other people at the bar are usually friendly.

I used to be scared of getting lost or mugged or something if I went of on a solo expedition but I made the same discovery you did that no one else gave a crap if I sat in a restaurant alone and I also found out that I can find my way back if I get a little lost and if I can't, people are friendly enough to help out. Now I look forward to trips alone. You really are growing into the woman I think you've always known you can be and I'm really impressed with the changes you've made in the last few years.

A solo trip is on my bucket list... I've already had lunch and dinner alone and I think it's a unique experience that should be repeated from time to time.

The statue you saw in Central Park was Balto! He was a real sled dog who helped deliver medicine to save a town in Alaska. They made a cartoon about him, and it was one of my favorites growing up. They even show that statue at the end of the movie, so cool you got to see it!

I would love to do NYC again, alone. I was there last October, for my 40th birthday, and my "friends" ruined the entire experience for me so I would love to overwrite those memories. I've been lucky enough to travel to some crazy places, with minimal money, and much of it I've done alone. You soon realise you're braver and more outgoing than you give yourself credit for (even with our shared neuro-spicy outlooks). Well done, my fellow Tara, for braving the solo stares ❤

When you're traveling solo, you get to spend a lot of time seeing places you might not see with a group of friends because you're going at your own desired pace. Also, you don't spend as much time in restaurants for lunch and dinner and you don't stop for drinks so you get a lot more out of your trip, from my past experience. It's fun to share trips with others from time to time of course.

Tara you are such a foodie you should really start reading these places you go to on your own that would be really cool

LOVED the whole thing of watching you say you planned to go out to eat by yourself, and then question yourself, and then push through and go, and then be so happy afterwards that you did it. Especially being someone who is in a relationship and could easily just do those things with your partner, but you still do things for yourself.
