I'm so happy for you and this new beginning, which will definitely pay off in the future. Choosing to study at the prestigious Columbia University is the right decision. May the next group of students who come to study there be wiser than those currently there. May they know how to ask questions and challenge what is visible, and may they research with a true desire for freedom—questioning what is perceived as truth. I hope that this year, alongside you, Jewish students will begin their studies at Columbia without fear of walking around campus, without having to be afraid to be themselves. Amen
