To live alone, to experience things alone all these were things they sacrificed and all these are things that they want us to experience because they couldn't😭

I’m happy that you’re happy and you have everything they your heart desires. However, I very much dislike lofts. I was MADLY in love with your old place and I think it’s the best kind of apartment. It’s literally MY dream apartment. Well, on the realistic/affordable end. Like not a $10k a month apartment in NYC.

i think putting lace curtains on the outside of those sliding doors would be so cute because when the doors are open you would still be able to see the lace on the walls! just an idea but i think it would look so cute ❤❤

I live in a loft too. The trick w the hvac is to make sure the fan is on a lower setting. It helps with the loudness.

For the bedroom, I think maybe like soft cream slightly see through curtains (we call them inbetweens in the netherlands, but idk if that goes for english as well…) all round the walls or covering the whole of the two walls that have the sliding door bit, would create such a cozy and warm feel to the bedroom and give more privacy. I personally love the curtained wall vibe in bedrooms. Very excited to see what you’ll do with it!
