It's like this basically anywhere there are high rises... when in the city in Asia I can clearly see into the people's homes in the building across. Watched an entire group of friends have a party one time. As for myself? Curtains will stay closed at night or all my lights are off. lol

I am also in NYC and have seen just about everything imaginable looking out my window at times, I think some people like being watched who leave their shades or curtains open at night but who really knows ?

20s me would love it. 40s me is moving into a wooded area this year, closest neighbor is about 1/2 mile away.

I HATE visiting NYC, but one weird thing I love is getting little glimpses into the lives around the city. Not full on creeping like this, but seeing from street level the cute little curtains, plants, or knick knacks people have on their windowsills and such. I always enjoy those little slices of life in every window

Nah, I stay in a little 2 bedroom apartment and have blinds, and then blacked out curtains behind the blinds and the only thing in front of my window is a parking lot. Im good. Glass house is different, but glass high rise apartments in a dense city like that, nah
