We had a really sweet Indian Chinese landlord couple. They stayed in the building and never raised rent beyond like 20$ every year... That too because of some law. They were chill af and didn't mind if we couldn't pay on time. Free delicious Indian and Chinese food. My mom even complained that I didn't experience any hardships during college because it was like I never left home. I moved out after college because of work but one of my roommates still lives there. 10 years now.
