Marin is just so adorable, and it's really nice seeing Gojo totally matching her energy now, just accepting this chaotic side of her and how goofy she is
Marin sticking her blue tongue out was genuinely one of the funniest and most memorable moments of the show for me. You canโt even really be disappointed that she broke that tension between them and killed a peak romantic moment, because itโs just so in character for her. You just know sheโd do something like that simply because it's funny and cute
So, now you get it. People thinks we like this show for the fan service but we're here for the wholesomeness.

The song that plays during the fireworks scene is "Kimi ni Tsutaetai Koto ga Arunda (I Have Something to Tell You)" by Spira Spica, who also did the OP. There's a cute video of the singer Mikiha reacting to this scene without knowing they were using her song for it. Also, the lyrics are really sweet and fit the moment well: If I startled you by bringing this up so suddenly, I'm sorry But please don't laugh, and just listen It's out of character, but these are my true feelings I get embarrassed facing it head on, and I can't always say it, but... One of the things I really like about this series is that once you see this episode and learn that she works as a professional model, so much of her behavior throughout the series so far suddenly makes more sense. Even going back to the earliest episodes, things like her comfort with getting her measurements taken comes across very different when you realize that as a model, she's probably gone through that numerous times before.

I love that almost every girl i've ever talked with about Marin always starts with like "she seems kinda like a fanservice character idk if i'll like her" then by the end of the series they LOVE Marin so much. She's written so well and everything about her just feels so organic you can't help but end up loving the character. Also Gojo is of course a wholesome bean that we all love.
That last shot I think comes from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Anime loves to crib from movies, specially Hollywood movies for stuff like this. Also the OP and Outro for the second Season are great.

7:16 Btw that scene of the girl laughing and the person with the chainsaw is the final scene from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) movie, it looks exactly like that except they did something like Sadako (The ring) or idk instead of Leatherface holding the chainsaw, the original scene is beautiful and they animated it perfectly, bravo Cloverworks
