Alana you are one of the youtubers/reactors I have respect for. You can see some parallels between a fictional story and the horrific realities imposed by the country we live in and say it like it is. It's nice to see someone who can feel empathy for people outside of their own reality.
Pain truly asked Naruto and the viewers a tough question
Naruto would always be my favorite show, such a masterpiece
these three episodes AGHHHHH. the pain vs. naruto fight in 167 was so exciting to watch. and the whole interaction with naruto and minato ughhh <333 :(((( we're getting closer to the end of this arc. the last few videos will be up next week! <333 π₯π π₯π the war arc has started on patreon! for early access and timer reactions: /alanamisako HUGE shoutout to my mods that help delete spoilery comments! thank you guys!!!!!
I watched this 10+ yrs ago. It was something else. Very Special moment for anime History.
I STRONGLY believe that the end of 167 (from Yamato burning palm to Minato showing up) is one of the best moments/scenes in shonen anime period.
"So peace has stumbled onto me." One of the best quotes, too underrated
Shikamaru is such a great friend for Naruto.
He NEVER gives up. The role model we all need!
The way Minato just casually pulled up, fixed the seal, and ignored the Nine-Tails like a slightly annoying pet is such a massive flex
Out of the big 3, this show hits the emotional points the best.
Episode 167 is a very controversial ep because of the super fluid animatin but is one of the most action packed and hyped episodes of Naruto imo and this came out in 2010π₯π₯π₯
How much have you cried Alana? When you want to cry, I cry too π
the next stretch of episodes is probably my fav from the series
One of the best things about Anime is that even childrens shows are not afraid to present grown up problems. So many childrens shows in the west have no respect for their audience and are just shallow and neutered. Children are not stupid, they just lack words for a lot of things. There are so many things they can understand, and I truly believe its healthy for them to be presented with stuff that makes them think. Thats where growth comes from.
Back in the day, a lot of people complained about the direction and animation style of this episode. But it perfectly illustrates the sheer amount of speed, power, damage and rage displayed by Naruto and Pain (and his puppet nature)
15 mins 2k views. holy pull
absolute cinema.
The writers of this confrontation between Naruto and Pain is peak writing.
I remember reading this arc in the manga and me and my brothers were tripping out on the many deaths that occured. The way the anime animated the fight of Naruto in nine tails against Pain was insane. With the soundtracks playing especially the one where Naruto is letting nine tails completely take over was perfect for the scene and then Minato, the Fourth Hokage appears to save Naruto, his son from himself. WOW
