I'm biased to the scene of Subaru walking past his death scenes in the first S2 opening. I think it has more impact on you than in this op this but everyone working on RE:Zero has been outdoing themselves each season.
With the ending song, the full version carries even better.
People complain about the visuals for the ED… not me - a bunch of desktop wallpaper screen captures not getting in the way of one of the most insane collaborations that has ever happened.
This is by far the best opening of the sseason, again he wasn't even watching the damn thing!
From what I heard, the ending visuals itself won't be shown much, maybe TWICE or three times MAXIMUM, so they put less effort into it which obviously makes sense. Plus a lot of people skip the ending anyway so if more resources go to the actual episodes, I'm all for it.

That cut of all the Subarus dying is definitely my favorite as well. But while the ED doesn’t have crazy visuals like that, I love the song even more.
I need to see the rest of the season to know how good of an opening it was for the season. But my favorite, as in the one that sums up the entire show the best is strangely OP3 Realize. It doesn't contain a lot of season specific shots and more so just the vibe of the show wrapped up in one opening.
