They kinda nerfed Homelander in the final fight before he lost his power
I think the "YOU CAN'T F*CKING DO THIS" is gonna be a meme sound too
Homelander literally fought 1v3 , butcher, soldier boy and hughie and still escaped ,and here🤷
I went into the comments to see people talking about the plot and the characters' endings, and all they talk about is power scaling and budget to complain about 😭
Bro blasted into space and back but couldn’t fly out the White House.
Homelander burning the Deep was brutal. Couldn't agree more with him😅 He was literally the audience saying "Im horrible and hate everyone, but you are just an absolutely piece of shit"
Only thing that would’ve made Homelander’s death more satisfying to me is if his blood was colored red, white, and blue. Other than that, one of the best villain deaths of all time, seeing him become weak and pathetic in his last minutes of life is what he deserved. Even if the building up to it wasn’t satisfying. I like the way they killed off Oh Father and The Deep too, even if they were too quick or illogical.
What made Homelander’s final moment heartbreaking was hearing him say “please stop” after losing everything that made him feel untouchable. For the first time, he didn’t look like a monster or a god anymore — just a completely broken human being. Yes, he killed people and did horrible things, but you can also see how deeply his childhood destroyed him. Growing up alone in a laboratory without parents, love, or any real human connection completely broke him emotionally. And honestly, I feel like Butcher ended him quickly because he himself was exhausted, mentally drained, and just wanted it all to finally end. Maybe Ryan being there also mattered too. Even if Homelander was a monster, no son should have to watch his father get tortured in front of him
56:08 "and then she sees Alfred" got me good, lol
4 seconds into space and back, fly away from Butcher, Soldier, and Hugh? Yes. Fly away or escape from Mini Home and Butcher, look at the Girl and take pictures? No
wasted two seasons just for the same plot that was supposed to happen during season 3. Simply lackluster even when they killed him.
Him wailing, crying and offered his mouth to live had me rolling
It's what Clara would have wanted
34:35 Work it, Make it, do it , makes us...
37:37 me seeing this fight again got me thinking this is stupid homelander should be the strongest he had the v1 he should of fly away the fastest like he did before and this fight sucks every thing was so slow and to be honest homelander can kill everyone in the white one dash through Kim,two should of killed butcher and then his sun and then take over the world by destroying it but no because everything has to be with friend ship. And the budget
So Homelander was as fast as A-Train but Butcher's tentacles are faster, in a full adrenaline fight, got it
I'm glad that some of them watched the series not for the jokes and epic bloody scenes, and it was clear from them that it was too much for John
i was wondering if this kind of death of homelander is satisfying is better than the comics.
30:48
surprisingly satisfying ending for how bad the season was
