For years I thought Leonidas went over board for kicking dude in the chest into the pit, but when dude told him to "choose his next words carefully, they could be his last" nah dude was disrespectful first.
The Xerxes character was absolutely perfect. From the costume, intro, making him enormous, and the acting. Really phenomenal.
Saw this for the first time when I was 12 years old, almost 28 now. Only gets better as time goes on, especially after learning the actual history ❤

3:46 love how zach snyder uses the zoom transitions on most action shots and make it more epic. 300. Justice league, man of steel you can notice them yet so soothing.

This was the Classical age of Greek civilization. United Greek armies defeated the Persians. After that Spartians and Atinas started to fight each other to claim all Greece peninsula. And ironically Spartians needed to help from Persians. Although Spartians were the stronger site with this help, both side started to weak during the battle. And finally Macedonia appeared strongly and brought an order to the peninsula. This was the begining of Helenistic age of Greek civilization and first appearance of Alexandre before history.
There were days like this in the past and there will be in the future....
