When Jason Statham wasn't a movie genre.
I love that they planned their backstory so completely they even devised an authentic Rabbinic discussion 😂😂😂
My favorite part of this movie is subtitles for Mickey's Pikey accent. At one point the subtitles just display "???" and it cracks me up every time.
One of a few movies where Jason acts normal - and i love it
"Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable. If it does not work, you can always hit him with it..." Probably the best opening dialog to introduce a character ever 😂
"London?" "Yes, London. You know: fish, chips, cup 'o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary fucking Poppins... LONDON."
Both snatch and lock stock were brills beyond. some of the best of the best brit comedy action in history. The balance between a gemstone and a crop...... Fin brills.
"he was as bent as the soviet sickle and as hard as the hammer that crosses it"
"It's tip top." Love the delivery of that line.
Brick Top's intro perfectly sums him up, a chilling combination of gangster/serial killer. Equal parts amusing and terrifying. Alan Ford delivered and iconic performance.
2:07 the little hop he does is exactly what a rabbi does when speaking. Thats a really good detail.
2025 and I'm still waiting for those sausages.
The disguises are so good, but the accesnts are such a giveaway. Good enough to fool a guard, but the real hassid realized in a second
How many 360 camera flips can we fit in. Yes
I rented this movie from Hollywood video on a whim when I was a teenager. It instantly became my favorite movie. I gained a lot of respect for Brad Pit. I think this is the best acting he ever did. All the acting was great, the story is funny, the directing and soundtrack are amazing. I think it is a master work.
One of the best movies EVER. LMAO! Still love watching it to this day.
classic. It's funny thinking back this was a movie with endless quotes my friends and I back in the 5th grade would yell at eachother lol
Brick Top had about 12 mins on screen the whole movie and he is one of the most iconic British villains there ever was. 👏🏿
“What’s happening with them sausages Charlie?” “Fiv minut Terkish.” Every time I’m grilling sausages I think of this interaction. 😂
Freaking gold -- Guy Ritchie graced us with fantastic casts & fantastic writing. We are lucky to have grown up with these films. I hope younger folks whom are inundated with all the material & films pumped out now-a-days, including with Jason Statham, take the opportunity to go back & see some of these earlier films. They are legendary. All the actors kill their roles. Absolutely.
