Val kilmer should have got an oscar for his role as doc holiday, it was such an amazing role for him and he lost all that weight for the role
Absolutely disgusting that Val Kilmer didn’t win every acting award that year. His finest performance ever. “I’m your huckleberry”
Michael Biehn as Ringo is criminally underrated in this movie. He played the perfect antagonist to Val Kilmer's Holiday.
Val Kilmer really made this role his own. RIP the legend.
The fingerwalk, The accent, The goofy/cryptic lines. Truly a Masterpiece by Kilmer.
RIP Val Kilmer. Shoulda won an Oscar for this one.
Nobody will remember who won a Oscar that year but no one will forget who played the best Doc Holiday ever.
That scene where Ringo pistol dances flawlessly bravado and Doc whiskey cups flawlessly mocking is priceless movie making
-Hell doc, i got a lot of friends... - I don't. I'll always remember this movie as one of the western films i have enjoied the most. Val Kilmer performance was legendary!
Came here to watch a legend at work & pay my respects. RIP Val.
Absolutely Val's best role. '"Oh Johnny I apologize I forgot you were there, you may go now."🍸
The fact that he wasn’t even nominated for his role as Doc Holiday is criminal. Kilmer gave a legendary performance in this movie. Absolutely stole the show with every scene he was in. Perhaps one of the most quotable characters in cinematic history, so many great and memorable lines.
Val Kilmer's performance will rightfully be remembered as one of the best performances ever. And I think it was elevated by Michael Biehn working opposite him... they were the perfect foil for each other.
"I have not yet begun to defile myself" One of the greatest lines in film history from one of the greatest film characters of all time.
I remember watching this movie with my great grandpa when I was little and admiring Doc when he said that line "Wyatt Earp is my friend...", Seeing brotherhood being valued like that gave me chills and made me want to always be a loyal and dependable friend like Doc Holliday.
His conversation with Ringo in Latin was pure genius. He spoke so genuine and eloquently, just for that he should have gotten an academy award.
RIP Val...No one played "Doc" like you did! You will always be our Huckleberry!
200 years in the future and people will still be lauding Val Kilmer's performance and complaining he got robbed of an Oscar.
First time I watched Tombstone, it was because of Kurt Russell. The many times I have re-watched Tombstone, it's to see Val Kilmer absolutely slay as Doc. How fortunate we are that he decided to take that role
6:47 Val’s humiliation ritual here to Ringo is amazing
