Discovered at sea as an infant by a weary fisherman, demigod Perseus (Sam Worthington) grows up with no real knowledge of his celestial origins until his watchful guardian, Io (Gemma Arterton), informs him that he is the offspring of Zeus (Liam Neeson). I want medusa to have her own movie, just like Maleficent. people need to realize that Medusa was treated very wrongly that she isn't a bad creature, all she want was to be loved.

What I really liked about this is that they could actually depict the sadness in Medusa's face . Turning people to stone was something which was out of her control as the curse made her do that but every time we see her ' human ' face there always is an underlying sadness . As a student of animation I know how difficult that must have been but kudos to the animators for accomplishing that .
say whatever you want about the movie, but they hit the nail with this Medusa. She is beautiful and mortal at the same time. Even kinda cute and when you know the backstory, you empathize more with her.
