That's not the reason why China built Great Walls (for thounsand years thru many dinasties and emperors). I visited the Great Walls when I was in China. The walls were on the mountains gliding almost across the length of north China. They're magnificent structures😊

I like the period. I always like to see different fighting techniques. The weapons were crude but it's how they were used that makes it interesting.
