All the Best Action Scenes from the Original Transformers Trilogy

Y’know it’s bad when you watch these scenes again as an adult and now all you see is property damage and civilian casualties, instead of big alien robots fighting and destroying things in an epic battle. 😭😂 Edit: To everyone saying it's just a movie, I get that it's just a movie. I get that I'm supposed to sit and enjoy it, and I did. I watched these movies religiously when I was a kid, but I'm rewatching this as an adult who hasn't seen these scenes in a hot minute. So now I have a new perspective when I watch it. There's nothing wrong with thinking so and I don't care for the comments saying it's just a movie. I get it.

When I was a kid I thought these movies were absolutely kick ass. Now as a mature 23 year old I have realized that I was absolutely correct and these movies did indeed, kick ass

Something I've always appreciated about the first three Bayformers movies is how much of it has real footage in the background -- real streets, real cars flipping around, real sparks and explosions, etc. Nowadays it feels like too many big-budget action movies just CGI the entire scene with zero real footage just because they can.

A shame the bayverse never got the ending it deserved

Prime uprooting a tree just to slam Megatron over the face with it is a hella underrated scene

How is the CGI so insanely good? The moment when Optimus ripped Blackout's face in half and took his body down was imbedded in my memory as one of the coolest action moments I have ever seen. The shot of Megatron being launched through the temple wall by Optimus's afterburners looks so good, and of course Devastator is the pinnacle of CGI in blockbuster action scenes. I just got an urge to re-watch these scenes out of nowhere, the last time I saw them being when I was like 10, and it is insane how the hold up and are actually more enjoyable than I remembered as a kid. Going to watch them again, I can't wait. It isn't high art, but it is so damn fun and cool. Thank you Transformers for making my childhood!

Megaton got some nerves saying Optimus is weak. He forgot he was getting his shit rocked 😂

These movies never got the best writing but man the action and transformation scenes were sooooo badasss

Don’t care what people say, Michael Bay did his thing with these movies. The action spectacle in the Transformers franchise (and most action movies in general) hasn’t been replicated since. I’ll be forever thankful to have grown up with these.

"Time to find out" has got to be objectively one of the top then most badass and coldest lines ever said followed up with equal energy by one of the most badass cold and brutal take downs of all time. Mudermous prime would make mortal kombat blush

This era of film had 1000x better visuals than any movie today.
