Autistic person here… when I was bullied, everyone didn’t even care… yet when I fought back, I got expelled from three schools because I fought back… and everytime… my father said one thing, since my family is full of engineers, he said “if it doesn’t work, you make it work. That goes for justice if needed”

My kids went to a New Mexico high school, and there were always hispanic bullies that liked to pick on other kids. My son was sitting having lunch with his buddies, and a couple of bullies started harassing them. After repeatedly telling them to back off, my son stood up from the lunch table. At 200 lbs and 6.3, he stared down the bully a foot shorter than him and told him he would turn the bully inside out if he saw him messing with kids again. They never got harassed again. Size helps, but not backing down is probably the biggest deterrent.
