I cry, EVERYTIME! Without fail
Her delivery of this scene is so powerful and real since it wasn't scripted! Julia Stiles is soo underrated

She actually was crying here. She was so in character she felt like it was real. That's what made it even more emotional to me. Such a great movie. Should've done this sooner π. The movie is 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU.

The fact that her face went into red shows that she really felt those words...I have seen just a few actors in my entire life who blushed during acting.

I hate it that he is no longer around. RIP Heath Ledger. He was a great actor.

Ive heard that in this scene she wasnt supposed to cry. It was un unscripted reaction but it fitted very well in the scene so they kept it and tbh i totally agree!!! πππ

She did actually cry during this scene, and it only took one take. She's an amazing actress

When a tough girl doesn't wants to cry in public but the fact that she can't help it now... Makes her cry even harder

Movie β10 things I hate about youβ, with Heath Ledger. Love this movie.
The fact that the cry isnβt scripted. Emotions are powerful especially expressed through spoken word. ππΌ

He actually then proceeded to track her down afterward, and had only the most impactful 3 words he could think of to say to her. He looked her deep in her eyes and said, βwhy so seriousβ

fun fact: this scene was done in one take and she wasn't supposed to cry, that was unscripted - which is why i love it because you can see heath holding back tears too :(

It's the most hurtful when you love someone when you know you shouldn't. All your senses are telling you to stop but your heart doesn't stop and you're sure that you are gonna end up being broken and hurt but you can't stop it from happening .

She was 18 at that time, what a great delivery and showcase of emotions at such young age. π€©π€©
She delivered this so realistically itβs beyond impressive and heart-grabbing!
