That moment before Banner disappeared. The way he looked at her with a face full of apology and sadness. And then the monster came out. That's deep emotional stuff.
This is the closest thing to the horror Hulk actually is. Johansson did a flawless job at selling the fear in this movie.

I think the scariest part about this scene is that hulk can go dead silent

I just love Thor here. He's the only one, for obvious reasons, who would have any kind of chance with Hulk, so he really gives it his all here. "We are not your enemies, Banner! Try to think!" And then he's like, "Okay, battle time" lol
Back when Hulk felt like an unstoppable force and something to fear.

I miss old Hulk. I appreciate that they tried to take his character in a unique direction but this version of Hulk was just so much cooler…

Natasha's fear really looks genuine here. If Thor wasn't there, there was no plot Armour to save her.
I like how HULK is quick enough to catch Mjolnir and the ejector seat; he's not just muscles.
