I go to estate sales where old people die and their families just sell all their things for a sum of cash. I go to look for classic records and in 2025 i went to probably about 15 estate sales give or take, taking home 2 records that whole year. Despite seeing literally thousands of records, but the reason is because where i live the boomers dont like music, they dont like books on records, they like one thing and one thing only. Bill cosby. I saw a few red foxx albums too, but i swear on my mother i went in one guys house with a room twice the size of my apartment stacked wall to wall with nothing but bill cosby. Every single special that MF had put on vinyl, and he had at minimum 10 copies of each album. He wasnt a seller mind you, he was a collector, his wife confirmed it. Every estate sale is like that, granted most people didnt have thousands of records, most of them would have between 50 and 500. But on average the record collection of every single estate sale ive ever been to has been 80% bill cosby. Most people would have 3 or more copies of the same bill cosby record. I have no idea why he was such a huge phenomenon here. No Richard Pryor, no Eddie Murphy, no Flip Wilson. Just shitloads of Cosby. Very frustrating because even if he werent a rapist, he just isnt funny, like at all. The joke he stole from carlos mencia was by far mencias absolute worst bit. (And thats a joke, i know many people will point out how "actually mencia stole his bit." Now you can point out the irony of me calling cosby unfunny instead.)

I seriously doubt anybody is even asking him if he's a Bill Cosby fan bill hasn't been relevant since the 80s is a comic so it doesn't make any sense and it's obvious he's just using that as a bit
