I felt so drained and tired everday. I tried everything, preworkouts, youtube gurus, morning routines that nearly killed me. none of it hit. then i saw someone mention Testosterone Rewired by David Brooks in the comments and it literally changed my life. Following everything in that book past couple of weeks made me realize I was running on empty for YEARS. wish I knew about this years ago🔥

Fun fact: I did think that the KKK were people dressing up as ghost for Halloween. I live in South East Asia and when I grew up the main cultural quirk of America that was being sold a lot in my country is Halloween. Post civil war black segregation was not being told a lot (obviously hiding the ugly side of your culture, everyone does that). So I saw the KKK being depicted occasionally in horror movies or old timey movies with bootleg DVD and terrible dub, my young brain only saw that as people dressing up as ghosts. Only when I studied oversea and the first day of school in history class we learned about the Civil Rights Movement that I had all the contexts. Even then I still think it’s very silly to dress up like that, especially if you are trying to scare people. That sentiment is shared by the movie Django Unchained.
