For anyone thinking about watching this, let me save you some time — it’s not worth it! The funniest part of all this is the title, where some genius actually called it “comedy gold” 😂 It is train wreck after train wreck, especially after no. 4 or 5. I am shocked tbh, how many ppl believe they can be stand up comics nowadays! Yet so few of them are any good..

Thank you so much for putting in the effort to sample less famous comedians. I was glad to see four or five that I already love and discover about another dozen that I'll go check out to see whether they're my speed. Numbering the clips is a good idea, and including their names is clutch. I regret I have but one thumbs up to give. Side note, I'm guessing some of these were filmed at festivals? Looks suspiciously like Awkwafina in the audience at the end of clip 13 (and the guy she's sitting behind, and several comics I peeped in other clips, look really familiar, too).

Man you can really tell just why the Austin comedy scene has gotten as big as it has when you see videos like this. If this is what the New York comedy scene is like it explains it all. 98% of these joke are absolute trash, not funny, and not even good narrative (story telling)! None of it is interesting or compelling or even, and most importantly fucking FUNNY!
