Fact is live didn't need to sign all 3 of Isak, Ekitike and Wirtz. We only needed one Striker and 2 proper physical DM that would have released Mac and Graveberch to be more attacking. Diaz sho have been kept and a experienced CB needed to be signed.
The midfield was shocking aswell. Macalister and gravenberch were both bang average all season and neither can defend. We need a new cb and new cdm 2 wingers left and right and a right back all top level players

Yeah, at the very least, I’d like them to sign a proper left-winger and move Gakpo to striker full-time to cover for Ekitike’s injury.. based on how they managed Rio’s minutes, I doubt that he has the fitness/stamina to play a full season as the starter there.
I don’t think slott is looking for pace down the wings. I think he’s looking for ball players to move the ball forward towards the striker and work an opening.
Nusa is the perfect replacement for Gakpo

Imo Gakpo should have been played like Firmino. Hes not good out wide but he does have good finishing instincts
So a complete rebuild. Kind of seems wild considering how much they spent in summer for pretty much none of it to work or improve things.
Very poor squad planning. Even after blowing away half a hillion the squad needs 3 new defenders, 2 new midfielders and 3 new forwards. Not just that atleast 5-6 starting quality players needed. Need another 500m this summer. Do FSG even have that?
We need to buy a right back because Bradley is never fit, we should write him off, and Frimpong is not a right back. Not sure what Hughes and Edwards have been smoking, but they need to give their heads a wobble. Or maybe FSG should bring Klopp in as Football CEO so he can protect culture and playing style.
