I remember seeing stuff like this in high-school and feeling bad for those kids i knew permanently injured. Their sports career ended before it begin, with so much hope and promises.
Had a friend in high school, promising athlete, broke his leg, greenstick, got infected, nearly lost his life, but they took his leg and saved his life. His dad fought the amputation, didn't want for him to be " less than whole"( a direct quote from his wife). Mom signed, and they nearly lost him on the table due to the infection. All that to say, football is a dangerous sport! Check for concussive changes in the brain frequently if you/aloved one plays.
