Spike’s entire argument was about Iverson’s character. But between those lines it’s not ONE single teammate or opponent that has had anything bad to say about Iverson. He was a warrior who left it all on the floor. Respected by his peers. Not one peer has accused Embiid of being anything close to Iverson.

Is the question better player or BETTER SIXER? Those COULD BE two different questions. Who is the better player who just happened to be a SIXER? OR Who was a better SIXER? TWO different answers in my opinion. One being a good bit closer than the other. ALLEN IVERSON was a FAR BETTER SIXER. Embid is a slightly, VERY slightly better player. I give the VERY slight nod to Embid in this question because I saw enough to see IF healthy Embid would've been the 1st, 2nd and 3rd best player alternating for 10 years IF he was healthy once his prime began. Allen Iverson was the best or top 3 less than 10 times even if he was top 5-8 possibly in the other years of prime. Who did MORE with LESS obviously AI, TOUGHER OBVIOUSLY AI, MORE TRANSCENDENT AI MORE CULTURAL ICON AI. ALL THAT, along with being just slightly below Embid as player made AI the better SIXER BY FAR.
Whoa Ike. Olajuwon shuts Joel down I'd bet. People outside Houston don't know but Olajuwon was a Charles Oakley type tough that everybody knew DON'T STEP TO DREAM. He'd have cooked Joel on the block. Spike Eskin on that’s when you lost. I’m not a big fan of Allen Iverson but Joel was the biggest disappointment that I ever seen in my whole entire life.
