ABS apparently got this wrong. #baseball

DID ABS get it wrong, or did the official who oversees the ABS challenge get it wrong?

No way in hell….it was taking too long so the ump just went with his call and played it off like they told him what the abs system said

Clearly, they're was a glitch. Unfortunately, the call should stay as a strike since that is what the ump called, but the batter shouldn't lose a challenge because of the glitch.

We need a challenge, to challenge the ABS now..🤣😭

So umps are even getting ABS calls wrong now?

This has the smell of "I reviewed my call and I confirmed that my call was right."

The umpire didn't want to be wrong so he kept it the same call

We have investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing

This is what happens whenever there is sports gambling

The fix was in, somebody need to make a buck

The ump stuck with his call because of the time, but the athletics should have definitely kept their challenge.

ABS didn’t get it wrong, the umpire got it wrong.

Communication breakdown somewhere between officials in New York and the ump. Someone probably said the wrong answer and it was too late to take it back. Silly.

Wasn't ABS, it was an impatient ump who didn't like being wrong though 🤔
