Cosmonaut Marcus : What is the darkness in Spongebob's soul? Answer : He works in fast food. There's an eternal gnawing at the center of it even with all the joy and whimsy in it. It's that stray bit of batter that burns in the fryer when nobody on the other shift properly cleans it before the next day.
Great to see Sam and Marcus back together! The episode with them and Spice was the first commander gameplay I watched, right after starting my own commander journey. I even made my own Jon Irenicus deck, inspired by you in that episode, Prof!
