Our store has the last year model of the UZ batteries. They do not use CATL cells. Can you confirm the new batteries use CATL cells??
Im not sure I understand the "new" tendensy to make rather small 5-6KWh rack batteries and the stack 4 or more. what is the advantage agains a 32KWh with the new 640Ah (or there about) cells

So not 4 seconds into the vid bro I stopped. Fuck China. Plain and simple. Love me some regular Chinese people and culture, government? Nope! Stuxnet comes to mind. What America 🇺🇸 did to Iran 🇮🇷 with a thumb drive back in the mid 2000s is not just impressive but 40 billion dollars impressive. Destroyed the entire program. In our current culture, I don't trust a MF. Especially China. Im all about solar. But the first company that can produce a battery that doesn't get a signal thing from China will my 💵💸💰 These batteries are just a bomb ready to be activated. See what happened to Hamas generals in Gaza for reference. Otherwise Brother Will, we better start looking at acid based marine grade batteries that we used before China was basically handed the keys to long term storage batteries, laptops, phones, security cameras, on and on and on. Im disgusted more than you know. But on the bright side I haven't committed to any battery. No money spent is not money lost. Because I somehow saw this coming. Batteries as weapons against unknowing populations around the world. 🤷♂️

I'll stick with the ecoworthy for now. I have version 1, 2, and now 3. A total of 10. 4 in my portable workshop and 6 in my house for power outages. Probably like a lot of people i started with a ecoworthy 3500 kit. On both my home and trailer. 8 195 solar panels, a 3500 aio, and 1 100ah rack battery. I installed 1 on my portable work trailer with an ecoflow 3k generator that the inverter starts as needed. With 4 100ah rack batteries. I also used the extra 8 195 that I can plug into my trailer when I get home. Been running 2 years now with no issues. My home I bought the same system then upgraded it with 5 more ecoworthy rack batteries and the aptos panels you reviewed. A total of 12 415w panels. 3 sets of 3 to stay under the 150v max rating on the aoi. This system has performed flawlessly for just over 3 years now. I use as both backup and I run it like a generator 1 week a month on critical loads. I built my own automatic transfer switch to use for critical loads in my home, and my shop. I would really like for you to test a system like this. Show people the capabilities and limitations of a purchased system like this.
I’ve learned so much from your videos. I really appreciate the knowledge you pass on. The one question I have is why not just have 4 12v 280ah golf cart batteries then spend $4000 on server rack batteries. I know there are fewer failure points but the difference in the price is staggering.
Sounds like EG4 batteries needs to get competitive on the prices.
