My main complaint is they haven’t actually got accurate data for how all the leagues finished. Started a save with wolves this morning, and apparently wolves forest and West Ham have been relegated, Tottenham finishing 5th. Why allow us to start a sim when the World Cup provisionals start, but not have all the proper data loaded into the game.

The major rework they did with the menus is what ruined it for me, the old minimalistic style was so much easier to navigate, now it’s just too much squeezed into each page.

Worth adding that while not "AAA" the coasts to make this game were still multiple tens of millions. and that was before the delay. the added a whole years wages to that.

I understand your position, you "have to" play it but the game is still far off from where I'd buy it. FM24 is enough for me. I still enjoy all your videos!
The first football match I ever went to was Yokohama F. Marinos unified title winning game in 2003, the much lunatic soccer game I've ever seen. The lack of J. League has always been my biggest hole in Football Manager.

Mexico is by no means the better squad at this WC. Ecuador have genuinely one of the best defenses in the world, whilst Mexico¨s squad is pretty underwhelming on paper.

I have played the new game mode with several teams, winning the world cup with 2 of them so far. It is a welcome improvement on the sorry state of international management in FM24 but still extremely rough around the edges. Looks good on the surface though especially with the new fully licensed kits. However, makes for a tedious and frustrating experience when you try to delve a bit deeper to immerse yourself within the save and have to deal with all the new bugs on top of the existing issues that haven't yet been resolved. In particular, searching for players is incredibly buggy which for me should be the fun part about international management. I don't want to just pick the assistant manager's recommended 23 players! The new national database is especially poor which has led to me just putting every single player into the international shortlist to then sort and filter them. Overall, I would consider diving back in to FM26 if I get the urge to win the world cup with a particular team, but I wouldn't consider it for a long term save over several sessions. A quick 3-4 hour save is about as much as is bearable with the current state of the game. I do hope they continue to iterate and improve on it and still believe it can one day be an enjoyable polished experience.
