Just got back from the friendly played in this Charlotte stadium the bounce during the game was very weird the whole game resulting in many players misreading 2nd bounces

The bank of America stadium is usually turf not grass so it hasn't settled in the ground yet
When Liverpool played at Notre Dame a couple years ago they had the same issue. The sod had been just laid down half hazard and the ball hand zero bounce. The players were so baffled. I think a player got injured because of it too.

This is not even a World Cup stadium. Bank of America in charlotte is not in the wc. Btw for the club World Cup they did play in charlotte and the field was pretty good. I actually watched Benfica vs Bayern there. It looks they just left the mls grass( not the best) for the friendly match.
This pitch is so dead, every bounce looks like the ball is trying to escape the tournament.
The stadium is Bank of America in charlotte which is not hosting any World Cup games, they were there for a friendly.
Water and not compacted enough, plus the new added layers absorb the shock

Looks like long balls will be killer in this tournament. Lump it up and the surface will stop it better for your striker to attack.
