Salah helping Liverpool win matches even after he's left. Thank You Salah!!
So why was everyone ripping Salah then? He was right
Oh Nicol now agreeing with the sacking of Slot, meanwhile the entire season when asked if he thought they should sack Slot he said no, he's earned enough credit for another season because he won the league last year. Overhyped the criticism of Salah over his tweet, trying to save the club he loves. Thank you Salah for what you did, you saved LCF fans from another season of watching paint dry, and the club losing its identity.
The biggest problem i had all season was the sheer amount of matches they were down 0-1 inside 10 minutes, it happened enough that i noticed it as an american fan and can only assume that tactics are to blame
The amount of relief I felt this weekend was incredible, that was a great decision
it was a constant downward spiral with Slot, with no stop in sight it had to be done. regardless, youβll be remembered for #20 Arne
This ESPN panel are clowns. Liverpool players had stopped listening to Slot in his first season. If these guys were any good at analysing games they would have seen that Slot ball was more possession based but in most games in the 24/25 season, the players reverted back to the Klop high press, high energy tactics that won them games as opposed to the Slot instructions of a tika taka style of game. This is why some of us have always maintained that Klop won the seanon last year. But this panel had to wait till Slot was fired to acknowledge this. Even Mo Salah confirmed this and the players agreed. Yet these guys kept on saying. "No. He has credit in the bank". What!???
Nicolβs underlying point is: If the players were allowed to do this to Slot, nothing will stop them from doing this to the next Manager and they run the risk of ending up like Real Madrid
What is wrong with Stevie, a day or two ago he was ripping Mo and now he is onboard, Alzheimer or hypocrisy or lack of knowledge or simply hatred for Salah!
Now all of these genius heads know it was the right thing to do. π
Calling it a βdisasterβ is excessive. Bad season? Sure. But they still made the UCL unlike Chelsea at 10th π¬
Now you agreeing after complaining all day about Mo criticising the Liverpool management What a pots
Mo Salah did Liverpool a great favor on the way out. Slot was the worst possible manager for Liverpool. He turned a dynamic exciting offensive team into a boring uninspiring side. Andoni is a great fit for Liverpool
You people are missing the point, Slot was just a patsy, incompetent and a yes man, the real culprits are Edwards and Hughes
Had never even heard of slot until he came to Liverpool
I don't want Klopp back. Love the guy. But the past is the past.
Stevie is a chameleon, he attached Salah relentlessly for going public and defending Slot's mediocrity.
Under slot, Liverpool was in continuous retrogressive motion backwards. This was his level. Last year was inherited a system and players who are built to play a certain way for years and decided not to tinker it.
I don't have a problem with konate leaving. I found he made to many crucial mistakes and found he really didn't have good chemistry with van dijk
Stevie humble pie has got to taste a bit sour.
