floyd did the same thing but opposite... he'd lean in so u think u could hit him, but he was actually farther away than his opponents thought. very cool to see 1 technique being used both ways

George is the best fighter at setting traps in MMA history, he has apologised for using the analogy in interviews but it's what he does, if you rewatch his fights a couple of times you can catch the instances of him setting them for his opponents. Especially in the Jon Fitch fight, nobody had done that to Jon Fitch in any fight, he himself was on an 11 fight win streak with 4 back to back finishes, and George made it look easy.

I always rooted for Matt Hughes, but had mad respect for GSP. He was so dangerous and tough.
