I can't help but see this as a repeat of 2016 draft ..they had hope with matthiews until he started playing like he didn't care if they won or lost same as the organization itself dosent care and why because as Harold Ballard (leafs owner from the 80s ) said why spend $ on a winning team when they fans will come and shell out thier hard earned money regardless of whether or not they win or lose ? And to this day it stands as the attitude of the Toronto Maple leafs all you leaf fans will not stop going to the games and spending your money losing season after season going on 60 years of no championships or even finalists
