He fell, got up, fell again and on the fourth time, he was ready to crawl. Robson Oliveira saw it happen mid-race and hoped someone would stop. Aaron Beggs did. Together, they lifted Ajay and carried him across the finish line. Ajay tracked them down after to say thank you. All three qualified for Boston 2027. All three are coming back. That’s doing good. The lady screaming "YOU GOT THIS!!" What an absolute hero! She kept him in the fight before the fellas saved the day. Amazing humans! 😊 Edit: wow! Ok, ok. Maybe I got caught up in the moment. I didnt mean "hero" that literally (yes know I said "absolute"). Right or wrong, she did seem to keep him trying which in-turn led to the guys helping him. I do however get the points that it could've been dangerous pushing someone who was drained. Yes, shes not a "hero" in the true sense of the word. I just commented on a moment where it all worked out well for this particular runner. Seems it's hard to just make a positive comment these days. All the best to you all. ✊🏽

This made me cry. Those 2 winners stopped along the way to help a brother get up and keeping running. That was worth watching and cheering for.
Those 2 men were angels, made me tear up watching them help him..there is still kindness in the world...
When I was a teenager we did a 20 mile walkathon and with a 1/2 mile to go, same thing happened to me. My brother and folks around encouraging me, but my legs just melted under me. I'm crawling and crying, begging my brother to keep going, finish this race, but he wouldn't leave my side. Suddenly this big guy "stands" me up and he and my brother walk me pass the finish line. That was 50 years ago and I'll never forget it. God bless these two guys who lifted that runners body, spirit and soul.
