The BEST Meal in the Philippines’ Culinary Capital [EP. 3]

Food

Hey guys! Sorry I’m a little late with this week’s episode, but for Episode 3, we’re in Pampanga!! Part of Region III (Central Luzon), Pampanga is widely known as the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines,” celebrated for its rich food culture and deep-rooted cooking traditions. Home to over 2.4 million people, the province blends agricultural heritage with urban growth, while preserving a strong identity shaped by generations of craftsmanship, community, and cuisine. *Thanks for the vehicle support to @FordPhilippines — Taking the Everest Titanium. *About PROBINSYA*: PROBINSYA follows Jessica’s road journey across all 82 provinces of the Philippines, aiming to traverse the entire nation in one continuous stretch. Guided by a personal bucket list of dreams to fulfill in each province, the journey becomes an immersive documentary—where geography sets the challenge and human connection gives it meaning. A province counts as visited once Jessica physically enters its geographic boundary, with a minimum 24-hour stay in each province. *Disclaimer* Due to unavoidable circumstances such as severe weather or other disruptions, certain episodes contain reshot segments. *Join my channel membership to get access to exclusive perks like members-only videos, live streams and more: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLPLXSPgySkBypwpi6BrMwg/join *Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jessicaleeseul/ *TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@jessica.leeseul *Business Inquiries [email protected] *FAQ Age? - I was born in the year of 2001, 10th, of February. Jessica, you deserve recognition as one of the finest travel journalists in the Philippines. 🏆 (you research, narrate, video edit, & a camera woman) You are your own support team. 👌

The Department of Tourism should consider partnering with you. Your series beautifully showcases the richness and diversity of Philippine culture in a way that feels calm and engaging—more like casually joining a friend on her "gala" than watching a typical documentary 😊

I thought EP.1 is my favorite and would stand until the end of the series. But now, EP3 is now my new fave... although thinking about it now, I will assume that every episode will be my favorite! Hahaha! Thank you for this, Jessica. This series inspires me to discover my own country.

As a foreigner, your vlogs have made me appreciate my roots. You have a very unique and gifted storytelling process that is beyond the “I see this, I spent on that and look at me, me, me, me” . Keep up the great material and work. If you can feature and partner with companies, it would be good to see other things such as - exported products and the manufacturing facilities or “how it’s made”, agarwood farming in Phil, weaving industry, local painters, museums, whale swimming, Boracay sports and other sports, filipino fiestas, furniture industry, shoe industry, unique fruits and farms and finds, public facilities or library (if there is one - although there was one in makati from an old retiree decades ago?). I am so appreciative that I am seeing beyond Jollibee, SM Mall, Binondo :) or typical food trips. I enjoyed that bookstore (another episode) and loved the honest talk about “culinary capital - who gave that label??)”

I like that this episode in some way "preserved" the history of the Medina family on record. I don't think they have been featured before. The researchers really did a great job finding them.

Hands down Jessica!! the BEST vlog I’ve ever watched as in ever ever!!! Vlog siya pero may docu vibes…Ang authentic lang. Parang kasama kami gumala sa Pampanga, hindi lang kami nanonood. After watching, legit gusto ko magluto ng ADOBO! 😂 GANON KA LALA yung influence. The best and quality content! Thank you Jessica!

I’m really glad Jessica chose a Kapampangan household over the usual resto spots in Angeles. So many places now here in Angeles feel too commercialized and made for aesthetics. Kapampangan cooking is personal and art. It’s how we show love, keep tradition alive, and pass down culture. Seeing it appreciated in its most real, home-cooked form really means a lot. 🫶🏻 soo bitin! Salangi ka ulit keni Jessica paglutu daka. ♥️

Jessica, you're slowly creating one of the most beautiful images of the Philippines. It's like every episode is a specific part or medium of an enourmous work of art. I'm loving this series <3
